Good Friday is the perfect time to explore the Last Supper and the ritual of cannibalism in Rome. If the sacrificial lamb is eaten, is it really a sacrifice? If nothing died for our sins, are we truly forgiven? Is the ritual of Jesus dying for our sins negated by the eating of flesh and the drinking of wine? The symbolism is hard to ignore so why try?
