Hundreds of millions of Americas are no longer eligible for an organ transplant. But the hospital that gets their body is still reimbursed $100,000 for every organ they harvest. Meanwhile, the building called a “House of Charity” charges sick people over $600 for a single bag of saline. Watching the medical community behave so poorly during Covid has convinced me to revoke my organ donation status. This link is for NC but I bet your state has the same.
